New Consulting Solutions For Farmers in Need of Farming Machines.

At CCTCF we take the needs of farmers very seriously especially farmers in less-developed countries where agricultural practices are still very primitive with the lack of modern technology used in developed countries. Not only do we try to arrange special deals on the purchase of machines, we also offer useful consulting to farmers from rural areas on how to increase their productivity by using modern farming machines.

Here below are four key solutions we offer farmers

1. Small-scale Production Machines

Many farmers in rural areas dread the idea of mechanized farming because the thought of the cost of machines scares them. We provide a solution to this problem by outsourcing machines for small-scale farmers. Such machines usually cost less and are easier to operate.

For example: While large-scale famers buy big capacity tillers attached to tractors, spending thousands of dollars, we propose small-scale farmers small-size handheld tillers which cost even less than one thousand dollars.

2. Large-scale Production Machines

Some farmers in rural areas operate in unions and cooperatives. Some of these groups are subsidized by local governments and other partners. For that reason, they have the means to purchase farming machines for large-scale production. At CCTCF, we welcome and encourage farmers groups because by pulling together their resources they can better benefit from institutions that support farmers. They can buy more sophisticated machines and enjoy the benefits of modern mechanized farming.

For example: The Mforya Up-hill Mixed Farming Common Initiative Group (MUHMFCIG), is a group of farmers based in the North West Region of Cameroon in Africa. They have been consulting CCTCF for machines that can help their farmers increase production.

3. Machine Maintenance

One of the most troublesome issue farmers who buy machines through us raise is the issue of machine maintenance. They worry about the lack of spare parts and their inability to repair machines when they breakdown. We come in with a solution which is negotiated each time a farmer is buying a machine using CCTCF Outsourcing. We negotiate with the seller on behalf of the buyer. Most sellers provide spares for parts most likely to breakdown and in addition to that we arrange training video sessions to help teach farmers how to operate machines correctly and fix minor problems of malfunctioning. For extremely expensive machines that require complex technical knowledge, we arrange the seller to send their own enginneer to do the initial set up and also handle major breakdowns.

For example: We have a good deal with the manufacturer of cocoa processing machines and for farmers who buy the large-scale production versions of the machines, we make arrangements on how maintenance will be handled.

4. Machine Renting and Group Buying

As discussed above, many farmers cannot afford to buy modern farming machines because technology is not cheap and they lack sponsors and subsidies. As a solution we encourage farmers to consider the options of renting and group buying. Farmers based in one locality and operating in a group like MUHMFCIG can put money together and buy or rent one or more modern machines that will benefit all the members of the group.

For example: CCTCF has its own show room where farmers can find many machines displayed. The manager of the showroom is allowed to rent out machines to trusted farmers. It costs cheaper than buying the whole machine. If you are a farmer or a group of farmers in need of this solution of machine group buying or renting, you can send an email to CCTCF explaining your needs and you will be given instructions on how to proceed.

Using modern farming technology is still the surest way for a farmer to increase productivity and be able to compete in a world where technology is controlling almost everything. From tillers to harvesters to processing and packaging machines, modern farmers cannot do without machines.
